'Good Practice in Research' sets out the good practice principles that doctors are expected to follow when undertaking research.

National Institute for Health Research (NIHR):
Funded by the Department of Health to facilitate and fund research within the NHS. Website contains details on funding, research support, and completed research projects.

Universal UK registration system for project approval. Automatically feeds your project to the necessary review and approval boards, depending on the type of research being conducted. Registration and account required.

GW-4 CAT: Clinical Academic Training Programme in South West and Wales:
The Wellcome Trust-funded GW4-CAT gives early career medical, veterinary and dental graduates the chance to undertake interdisciplinary PhD training at the Universities of Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter.

WCAT: Welsh Clinical Academic Training Programme:
WCAT fellowships are run-through clinical fellowship training positions in Academic Medicine & Dentistry. They are a collaboration between the Wales Deanery and the major universities in Wales (Bangor, Cardiff and Swansea) in association with and receiving ring-fenced funding from Welsh Government.

Paediatric Emergency Research in the United Kingdom and Ireland (PERUKI) Network:
The Paediatric Emergency Medicine research collaborative for the UK and Ireland across 51 ED units. Contains network resources, details of ongoing studies and previous publications.
